    3. HIGHLY SKILLED AFRICANIST LECTURERS

    4. PERSONAL FIELD ASSISTANTS

    5. DIRECTED PROFESSIONAL FIELD RESEARCH

    6. A FIFTEEN PAGE RESEARCH/INTEGRATION PAPER PER COURSE

    7. GROUP DISCUSSIONS ON CURRENT ISSUES ARISING FROM COURSES ORGANIZED AND DIRECTED BY STUDENTS

    8. FIELD RESEARCH WORKSHOPS ON TECHNIQUES AND METHODS
